Getronics / Redsiren | 2002-2005 - From the Bottom to the Top

When I first landed a job at what was then known as "Redsiren" (a managed security service provider [MSSP] with many customers from the financial sector), I was in the position of level 1 support.  Through my own self-study and effort, over 3 years I was promoted through each level of the organization until I was helping engineer the solutions that defined the business and created our competitive advantage in the market.  From supporting implementation and integration of new customer systems to defining the UX of the customer portal and analytics platforms, I performed key roles within the technical engineering team.  During my time at Redsiren (and eventually Getronics as it is known now) I completed many different Cisco technical certifications that focused on network engineering; including passing the CCIE written exam for security.
