Verizon | 2001 - Support Center Migration
Early in my career I was asked to lead the move of a support center located in Reston, Virginia to Alpharetta, Georgia. This project entailed the training of 20 new team members that were primarily support specialists of legacy telephone services. These new team members needed to learn about the technology to be supported (Dedicated Internet Access, various Switching / Transport protocols, BGP routing, DNS, Abuse, others) and processes that were to be leveraged in support of the transition. The transition was completed in 2 months with limited impact to customer service.
